Here's how to tap into the power of referrals:

 

📢 1. Ask After a Great Interview Once you've had a great experience, send a thank you note—and then ask:
"I'm looking to do a few more podcast interviews this quarter. If you know of any other shows that might be a good fit, I'd really appreciate an intro or even just a name."
Make it easy and friendly. Most hosts will be happy to help.
 
🧱 2. Offer Referrals, Too Be the person who shares opportunities first. Hosts remember guests who send them great people. Guests remember hosts who connect them with other shows.
Even a simple: "Hey, I know someone who would be a great fit for your show" can open doors for everyone.
 
🔍 3. Add a Referral Question to Your Flow Hosts: At the end of your interview, ask your guest:
"Do you know anyone else I should talk to?"
It's a small question that leads to big wins.
 
💬 4. Keep the Relationship Warm Follow each other. Stay in touch. Comment on their stuff. Share the episode.
Referrals happen naturally when you're on someone's radar.
 
🌟 5. Get Testimonials and Shareables After your episode goes live, ask for a short testimonial you can use in your media kit or pitches. Then return the favor.
That way, you both have more credibility and more reasons to recommend each other.
