1. Crafting the Host's Intro: Make it Easy for Them
|
|
|
|
|
Think of it like the opening line of your bio, but less formal and more listener-friendly.
Your job: Write 2-3 sentences the host can read aloud to introduce you.
Here's a simple structure:
- Who you are
- Who you help
- What transformation you offer
Example (Business Coach):
"Joining us today is Rachel Lee, a business coach who helps overwhelmed service providers create scalable offers and reclaim their time. She's the founder of Freedom Formula, and her work has helped dozens of entrepreneurs build sustainable businesses without burnout."
Example (Health Guest):
"Dr. Kelsey Ruiz is a functional medicine practitioner who specializes in gut health for women in their 30s and 40s. She's here to talk about the hidden causes of fatigueβand how to get your energy back, naturally."
TIPS:
- Keep it under 60 seconds when read aloud.
- Make it conversational, not too formal.
- Mention any credibility boosters briefly (book, business, media, clients, etc.).
- End on what the audience will gain from hearing you.

2. Your One-Liner: How to Introduce Yourself Like a Pro
|
|
|
|
|
When the host says, βTell us a little about yourselfβ¦β this is your moment. Don't ramble. Lead with value.
Structure:
- What you do
- Who you help
- What problem you solve or transformation you create
Formula:
I help [audience] [achieve X result] through [method].
Examples:
- βI help high-achieving moms lose weight without dieting, using a blend of mindset coaching and simple habits.β
- βI help startup founders become confident public speakers so they can pitch, lead, and inspire.β
- βI coach creatives with ADHD to organize their lives without losing their spark.β
TIPS:
- Keep it under 15 seconds.
- Make it benefit-driven, not a job title.
- Test it out loud: Does it sound natural and confident?
