About Me:
COL (ret.) Jessica Bunin, MD, MHPE is a Co-Founder of All Levels Leadership, a West Point graduate, and a physician with 23 years of Army service spanning psychiatry, critical care, and academic medicine.
She trained at Tulane University School of Medicine and completed her residency in Internal Medicine and Psychiatry at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Her career included serving as a psychiatrist at West Point, Medical Director of the ICU and Chief of Critical Care Medicine at Walter Reed, and Chief of Critical Care at Tripler Army Medical Center. She deployed to Iraq as a psychiatrist and to Afghanistan as an intensivist.
Before retiring in 2023, she served as Assistant Dean for Faculty Development, delivering nearly 100 workshops annually, and as Program Director for the Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. She is now a Professor of Medicine, Keynote Speaker, Author, and Certified Executive Coach.
Jess has presented more than 50 workshops at national and international conferences and speaks on leadership, communication, civil discourse, trust, and moral courage. She is passionate about developing the next generation of leaders through coaching, mentorship, and faculty development. She is publishing her first book: “From the Inside Out: How self-aware leaders build trust and transform healthcare,” this fall with the American Association of Physician Leadership.
