Hi! I'm Regina!
I'm the human behind Awkward Octopus Productions LLC. I'm on a mission to make science a verb in science classrooms everywhere!
Growing up on a family farm, I learned about nature from my father and developed a deep love for science. But I didn't always have positive experiences with science education in school, and I know that many students aren't lucky enough to have those same experiences outside of the classroom. That's why I founded Awkward Octopus Productions -- to help teachers create meaningful and engaging science experiences for their students.
I firmly believe that science can be for anyone, and I'm excited to be on this journey with you. Let's learn, grow, and have some fun together!

-WIPRO Science Education Fellow: collaborated with educators in horizontal and vertical PLC's, created cross curricular stem project in the 9th grade academy, and integrated career education into environmental science classes
