"Discover the God whom you could never have imagined, and the "you", imagined before time."

About Me:

I am a Jesus-pursuer, husband, father, grandfather, and a collector of friends. My life and work center on one theme: identity. Many believers live grateful for grace yet unsure of belonging. I write and speak about the shift from a "not-measuring up" mentality to mature sonship.
Author of "From Sinnership to Sonship: The Story of Becoming", I explore how Scripture moves us from striving to rest, from “I’m not worthy” to secure belonging. Drawing from decades of marriage and faith, the book traces the transformation process thru the lives of Adam, Peter, and Abraham.

On Substack at "lookingwithfresheyes.substack.com", I revisit familiar passages with depth and clarity, examining themes like the mind of Christ, identity in worship, and spiritual formation.

Bio: Tom Anderson is a theological writer focused on sonship and spiritual formation. Married over fifty years, he brings Scripture-rich insight and lived experience to every conversation.

Your Qualifications:

Married for Over Five Decades — and Still Growing
Married to Nancy for more than fifty years, I speak from a covenant that has endured seasons of fear, growth, hardship, and renewal. Ours is not just a long marriage, but a continually deepening one—shaped by faith, perseverance, and shared pursuit of Christ.

A Multi-Generational Family Walking with the Lord
I am a father and grandfather who has watched faith take root across generations. My message on identity is not theoretical; it has been lived and modeled within my own family, where spiritual formation is relational, not merely instructional.

Speaking and Writing from Lived Experience
My theology was not formed in isolation from life. I write and speak from decades of walking through wilderness seasons, personal struggle, and steady transformation. Identity, sonship, and belonging are realities I have had to learn—not just teach.

Church Leadership and Ministry Engagement
I helped launch a church, have participated in prison ministry, and regularly start and lead Bible studies. These experiences have grounded my teaching in real people with real struggles, sharpening my ability to communicate depth in accessible ways.

Invited to Preach on Identity at My Home Church
I have been asked to preach specifically on the topic of identity at my home church—affirming that this message is not only personal, but recognized as timely and foundational within my faith community.

A Collector of Friends
I genuinely value relationships. I build connection easily across backgrounds and perspectives. Whether in Christian or non-Christian settings, I am known for thoughtful conversation, warmth, and the ability to engage deeply without losing humility.
