""To move, to breathe, to fly, to float, To gain all while you give, To roam the roads of lands remote: To travel is to live." --Hans Christian Andersen in "The Fairy Tale of My Life""
About Me:
I am a licensed psychologist with my own private practice, and a Certified Travel Coach with a dedicated coaching business. Due to my background in both psychology and travel, I bring a unique perspective and expertise to topics that combine travel, mental health, and well-being.
My primary professional focus is supporting Black Professional Women (45yo+) in prioritizing their health and well-being. My work centers on empowerment, overcoming societal assumptions and barriers, and fostering a grounded sense of self. So often, we are the ones holding everything and everyone else together, and my mission is to help us reclaim that same energy for ourselves.
While I am passionate about empowering other Black Professional Women, I believe this message would resonate deeply with a variety of audiences, regardless of how they identify.
Some topics that I could speak to include:
-How intentional travel supports emotional regulation, clarity, and well-being
-Designing travel that restores instead of drains (especially in midlife)
-Managing anxiety around travel
-Prioritizing self and using travel as self-care
I would welcome the opportunity to contribute to discussions about the same within the Podcast Collaborative Community!
