"No one wakes up and says, ‘I’m going to be a lousy leader,’ yet workplaces are full of them. Companies crumble when silence replaces courage. It’s time to flip the script, stop confusing fast results with real impact, and build leaders who strengthen culture instead of eroding it."

About Me:

I’ve spent more than 30 years in corporate learning and leadership development before I left. In that time I’ve seen brilliant leaders do some truly STUPID things. Those experiences became my fuel. I learned from every misstep I saw—and lived through—and built a career helping leaders flip the script from toxic and ineffective to truly legendary leadership.

I ran leadership development at Samsung, led learning for the U.S. House of Representatives, and worked at Gartner, Deloitte, American Airlines, and teach grad school at The Catholic University of America. Once I escaped corporate, I founded L4 Learning Solutions, where me and my team develop and coach CEOs, senior leaders and high-potential leaders through one-on-one, team, and group leadership experiences around the world.

I channeled decades of lessons into my book, Why Smart Leaders Do Stupid Things: Lessons Learned from Lousy Leaders. In it, I introduce my signature framework—the Legendary Leader Flight Plan™—nine differentiators that take leaders from smart to LEGENDARY.

As an Industrial/Organizational Psychologist (M.S.), I’ve woven this model into leadership assessments, executive coaching, keynotes, retreats, workshops, and training programs. I love sharing powerful case studies and real-world transformations that show leaders exactly how to rise above the noise and lead with purpose, impact, and integrity.

Your Qualifications:

With more than 30 years in corporate learning, leadership development, and executive coaching, I bring a rare combination of academic rigor, practical experience, and real-world results. I hold a Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and maintain multiple industry-leading credentials including PCC (Professional Certified Coach), CPC, PHR, and Hogan Assessment Certification—giving me a deeply validated, science-backed foundation for developing leaders at every level.

Throughout my career, I’ve built and led leadership development functions for some of the world’s most recognized organizations, including Nike, Unilever, New York Life, Fiji Water, Samsung, Gartner, Deloitte, American Airlines, the United States House of Representatives, The Library of Congress, etc. and the tech graduate school at The Catholic University of America, where I also taught change management, ethical leadership, and leadership foundations.

As the founder and CEO of L4 Learning Solutions, I’ve coached CEOs, senior executives, and high-potential leaders across industries, helping them accelerate performance, strengthen culture, and transform how they lead. My clients regularly report breakthroughs in clarity, confidence, decision-making, and team alignment—results that translate into measurable improvements in engagement, trust, and business outcomes.

A signature case study includes leading the redesign of Samsung’s global leadership development strategy, resulting in a shift from compliance-driven learning to a high-performance, scalable leadership architecture used across multiple continents. Similar results have followed in my consulting and coaching work, where I’ve helped organizations navigate toxic high performers, strengthen leadership pipelines, and build cultures rooted in trust, courage, and real impact.

My work is grounded in the Legendary Leader Flight Plan™, the nine-vector leadership model I developed over decades of coaching and corporate experience. This framework serves as the foundation for my book, Why Smart Leaders Do Stupid Things: Lessons Learned from Lousy Leaders, and for the programs, retreats, and executive coaching my firm delivers around the world.

In short: I help leaders evolve from smart to legendary—and I equip individuals and organizations with the tools, insights, and behaviors that create lasting, meaningful, culture-strengthening impact.
