About Me:
I’m a brand storyteller, identity architect, and Human Design coach for heart-led visionaries who don’t want to fit the mold — but do want to be seen and lead from who they truly are.
The people I work with care deeply about the change they want to create. They don’t buy into the status quo or performative success. They know visibility matters, but they don’t want to lose themselves in the process — and they’re still finding a way to show up that feels natural, grounded, and sustainable.
At the core of my work is a simple belief: you don’t build an uncopyable brand by inventing a story — you build it by crystallizing and owning the one you’re already living.
After 15+ years shaping stories for mission-driven organizations, I’m now building The Brilliance Code™ — a Human Design–based framework that helps people root into their true selves so they can be visible, lead with integrity, and create meaningful impact without burning out.
I’m a warm, conversational podcast guest who thinks with people, not at them — especially on shows about heart-led entrepreneurship, leadership beyond hustle, identity, creativity, sustainability, and storytelling for real change.

🎙️ Stephanie Zhong — Brand Storytelling & Human Design Expert
I’m a brand storyteller, Human Design coach, and former journalist and marketing director with 20+ years of experience helping purpose-driven leaders translate lived wisdom into clear, compelling messages.
My background spans journalism, public radio, education, and nonprofit marketing. I’ve shaped campaigns and narratives for mission-driven organizations like Planned Parenthood and Teach For America, and now work with visionary coaches, creatives, and entrepreneurs who want their visibility to feel aligned, grounded, and sustainable.
I guide heart-led changemakers to use Human Design and personal storytelling as practical leadership tools — supporting clarity, confident self-expression, and magnetizing the right opportunities without burnout. I’m the creator of the Own Your Message framework and course, which helps women and BIPOC entrepreneurs articulate what sets them apart and lead from their true voice.
My speaking includes summits such as SHECatalyst and Moxie Camp, where I’ve spoken on burnout recovery, brand visibility, and becoming a category of one.
I hold an M.A. in Comparative Literature from UCLA and a dual B.A. in English and African American Studies from Indiana University. My work has been featured in Reuters and The Washington Post Express.
