"I’m a yoga therapist and mindfulness coach helping clients decrease stress, build resilience and thrive. Integrating neuroscience, psychology and mindfulness, I offer a unique mind, body and brain approach to wellness."

About Me:

I’m a yoga therapist, mindfulness coach, counselor/mentor, and mom of two incredible daughters. I love traveling, yoga, food, reading, and all things outdoors. I consider myself a quiet adventurer and a calculated risk-taker.

These days, my role in the world, both personal and professional, is to help people reduce stress, build resilience and thrive.

I offer practical and effective tools to help people gain insight around what actions they need to take to live a less stressful and more meaningful and engaging life. The topics I talk about affect every single one of us. There is no one out there who doesn’t sometimes feel stressed, scared, isolated and worried about the future. This is the culture we live in. I help people rewire their brains to feel safer, more relaxed, more connected and more hopeful.

Life is complicated and there are no one-size-fits-all solutions. But there are evidence-based mindfulness practices, grounded in neuroscience and psychology that can shift the way we respond to stress, make us more resilient and optimistic and ultimately transform our lives. I teach people these practices - how they work, why they work and how to integrate them into our lives.

I love talking about mindfulness, nervous system regulation and the very simple ways we can more fully enjoy our lives. I offer reflections and meditations so that listeners can experientially engage with the topic during the podcast and take away something valuable.

Your Qualifications:

I began working in the wellness field in 2001, after receiving a certification in yoga instruction and yoga therapy, and a Masters in Counseling/Psychology. I am a C-IAYT (Certified, International Association of Yoga Therapists), and an E-RYT500 (Experienced Registered Yoga Alliance Teacher). I’ve also trained as a wilderness guide with Animas Valley Institute, where I offered guided immersions into nature and the psyche.

I’ve worked in the wellness industry for 24 years, offering yoga therapy and instruction, training and mentoring for yoga therapists and teachers, and guiding domestic and international retreats. During the last 10 years, I’ve designed and taught courses that explore stress reduction, nervous system regulation, resilience, chronic pain relief, optimism and gratitude through the lenses of neuroscience, psychology and mindfulness. I work both in person and online and am very comfortable teaching and presenting to an online audience via audio and video.
