Rev. Dr. David M. Anderson, Jr.—but you can call him David—is a pastor, wedding chaplain, speaker, author, and podcast host based in Ohio. While he serves in local church ministry, his primary focus is helping engaged couples build strong, lasting marriages.
Having officiated over 1,800 weddings, David brings a unique, real-world perspective to relationships. He has seen what works, what fails, and what couples wish they knew before “I do.” His work is grounded in a simple conviction: a beautiful ceremony matters, but a strong marriage matters more.
He is the host of The Wedding Chaplain Podcast and the creator of a “Marriage Boot Camp” approach to engagement, equipping couples with practical tools, honest conversations, and clear guidance for the road ahead.
He is also the author of Before God and These Witnesses and the host of a second podcast, The Ebenezer Project (launching summer 2026), which explores themes of memory, legacy, and the stories that shape our lives.
