Kimberley Pittman-Schulz

"To be a witness to another's life is to be a sacred space. Yes, you and I are sacred spaces, holding the ones we love. With each inhalation and exhalation, we keep their stories alive within our own. — from Grieving Us: A Field Guide for Living With Loss Without Losing Yourself, Chapter 18, Meaning."
About Me:
An award-winning poet, author, and grief & life transitions mentor, I help people (most often women) at midlife and beyond integrate loss, especially the loss of someone they love, into a vibrant, meaningful new season of life.
My work explores the profound interplay of grief, joy, and the natural world, shaped by decades of supporting those navigating love, loss, and legacy—and by my own personal experiences with grief, beginning in early childhood.
As the author of Grieving Us: A Field Guide for Living with Loss Without Losing Yourself (an Amazon #1 New Release) and Mosslight (a national poetry book award-winner), I offer fresh perspectives on what it means to live forward with resilience and meaning. Through my writing, mentoring, and e-journal, The Wild Now (at WildNow.Life), I invite people to reimagine life moment by moment, noticing the small, luminous moments that bring lightness even in heavy times.
A frequent podcast guest and sought-after workshop presenter, I bring a mix of depth and practical insights as well as warmth and, yes, humor, that resonates deeply with audiences. Whether discussing how grief and joy coexist, reclaiming purpose, or the healing power of nature and creativity, I want listeners to feel seen while offering tools for navigating life’s hardest seasons.
