About Me:
I'm obsessed with inflammation — the chronic, hidden kind that doctors don't really know what to do with. The inflammation that causes mysterious symptoms of pain, discomfort, and/or dysfunction. I'm out to demystify the sources of inflammation characterizing multiple sclerosis and other autoimmune conditions, and I offer courses and products designed to help lower inflammation and help you feel and function better through my online clinic called The Inflammation Academy. I'm a patented inventor, TEDx speaker, and award-winning anti-inflammatory cookbook author. I've been featured in numerous newspapers, magazines, podcasts, and summits as well as on NBC, ABC, CBS, and PBS. I was recently a featured expert in the “Strange Pain” docuseries alongside Dr. Tom O'Bryan. My newest book, out in March 2025, The Multiple Sclerosis Inflammation Connection, explores the inflammatory triggers behind many autoimmune conditions and offers innovative solutions for designing a personalized anti-inflammatory life.
