Carrie Ellis, the police chief at Central Texas College, has served in law enforcement for 30 years and recently released a new book about women seeking leadership positions in law enforcement. It is called, “Ma’am In Command”, and can be found on Amazon. In this episode of Inside Killeen, Ellis talks about women in law enforcement and the benefits of having a police force that includes female officers. She will soon be sworn in as the new Texas Police Chief Association president.
