ONE YEAR?! Somehow, Take Me Off Speaker has officially survived its first year — and honestly, I’m just as shocked as you are.
This podcast has been such a fun part of my life, and genuinely, nothing makes my day more than seeing you guys listen, comment, ask for more episodes, tell me you love it, or generally encourage me to keep talking when I probably should have been put on mute months ago. For our anniversary episode, we’re back in Nantucket — one of our favorite places and, of course, the birthplace of this podcast.
We’re talking about Nantucket’s new “no influencers” law (LOL), the island’s complicated relationship with influencers, and why apparently we’re no longer welcome anywhere we go. We’re also getting into influencer weddings — because they’ve been getting A LOT of hate lately. Why? Is everyone just jealous? Or have we collectively decided that watching someone get married for 47 consecutive Instagram Stories is simply too much?
Plus, plenty more opinions, observations, and things I probably shouldn’t say out loud.
Happy one year to Take Me Off Speaker. 🥂 And thank you for listening!
