Hey Park City! Ready to move more sustainably this winter? The Ride On Winter Rewards Program is back — and it’s better than ever!
From December 1 through March 31, walk, bike, carpool, or ride transit instead of driving alone, and log your trips at the link on our website. You’ll help cut congestion, keep our air clean, and earn rewards along the way.
This season we’ve got over $4,500 in prizes up for grabs. Last winter, Park City logged more than 350,000 miles without single-occupancy vehicles. Let’s top that number this season!

December Events
Planning Commission will meet on Wednesday, December 10 at 5:30 p.m.
Council will meet twice this month: Thursday, December 11 and Thursday, December 18. The December 18 meeting is the last of 2025 and has traditionally been “wear your favorite holiday sweater night.”
Both Council and Planning Commission meet in Council Chambers at City Hall, or you can join virtually. Find links and agendas on the Public Meetings tab at parkcity.gov..
Festive Fun at the Park City Library
Throughout December, the Park City Library will host a variety of holiday events.
Winter Whirl: Activities & Crafts:
Saturday, December 6, 2025 – 12:00 p.m. Celebrate the winter season with hands-on activities and creative crafts throughout the first floor of the library.
Drop in anytime between 12–3 p.m. Gift wrapping workshop at 12:00 p.m. and book bedazzling workshop at 1:30 p.m. in Room 201.
17th Annual Gingerbread Jimmi House Building Competition:
Monday, December 8, 2025 – 6:00 p.m. Celebrate the season with homemade gingerbread creations inspired by Gingerbread Jimmi: Magical Storybook by local author John Robert Holbrook.
The School Break Film Series offers free screenings during Park City School District breaks:
· Elf – December 22 at 4:00 p.m.
· A River Runs Through It – December 26 at 4:00 p.m.
· Iron Giant – December 29 at 4:00 p.m.
· Family Noon Year’s Eve Party – December 31 at 11:00 a.m.
Park City Transit 50th Anniversary Celebration
Join Park City Transit in celebrating 50 years of service with a special anniversary ride on the Park City Trolley.
· Wednesday, December 10
· Time: 9:00–9:30 a.m. (Trolley departs at 9:00 a.m.)
· Location: Old Town Transit Center
The celebration includes a commemorative ride, remarks, a celebratory toast, and light refreshments back at the Transit Center. Join Park City Mayor, Council, and Transit leadership to mark this milestone.
