VOICES OF INNOVATION
VOICES OF INNOVATION
Podcast Description
I am Leticia Makafui Ahiamadzi, a young African woman passionate about youth development, innovation, and climate action. I’ve had many ideas but lacked the resources, mentorship, and confidence to bring them to life. Many young people face the same struggle and those already creating solutions sometimes lose hope, feeling that African innovation is undervalued or overlooked. Through my podcast, I amplify youth voices, share real stories, and inspire belief. When young people see others like them solve problems, they start to believe they can too and that belief can reshape Africa's future!

Africa is often described through it’s challenges but what happens when the communities most affected by social, climate, economic, and technological pressures begin engineering their own solutions?
In this episode of Voices of Innovation, Leticia Makafui sits down with Harold Benji;the CEO, and the mind behind the Night Market App. He built the app with clear intention, not just because he wanted to be the CEO of another delivery app BUT to make local food vendors more visible, affordable and accessible.
The epsiode highlights how this app in collaboration with Aldin Cycles, has reshaped student realities and created income pathways for young people in Ghana.
This is a conversation about courage, responsibility, and redefining what innovation looks like in Africa.
Because sometimes innovation isn’t technology.
Sometimes it’s creating spaces where people finally feel seen and reflects everyday Ghanaian life.
Tune in.
Download the Night Market App if you’re in Ghana and see how it works!
