In Episode 9 of Kickin’ It with Kincannon, Mayor Indya Kincannon sits down with Nicholas Bradshaw, Director of Fleet Services, to spotlight one of the City’s true behind-the-scenes heroes.
Fleet Services may not always be front and center, but they keep Knoxville running every single day. From police cruisers and fire trucks to snowplows, mowers, and heavy equipment, Nick and his team maintain nearly 1,600 fleet assets and hundreds of small engines that power essential city services.
Nick shares his unique journey through City government, starting in Building Inspections in 2009 and rising through HR, Public Service, and Fleet leadership over nearly 17 years. That broad experience has shaped his leadership style and strengthened Fleet’s mission: supporting every department so they can serve the public safely and efficiently.
