Podcast Insights
Content Themes
The podcast focuses on the transformative power of sound, exploring themes such as sound healing, its use in rituals, mental health applications, and sound as a form of artistic expression. Episodes feature discussions on diverse topics, including sound's role in medicine and therapy, as well as artistic innovations, with notable examples like the work of sound artist Charlie Morrow, who integrates sound into various mediums and experiences.

We at SoundPower are all for empirically proven ‘facts’ re the power of sound, but historically many skeptics are proved wrong as the sum of human knowledge increases… in other words, “we don’t know what we don’t know.”
Every person has intuition and confirmation bias, yet advancement also needs testable theories. There are leaders and followers, but we must test any claims about sound’s healing to validate solid theories and weed out the rest.
We want this podcast to advance human knowledge for the good of all, bring us closer, and resist division. Bring it on!
This exciting episode of SoundPower features Ludwig Berger, landscape sound artist, musician and educator exploring the sonic and vibratory dimensions of landscapes.
His practice listens with plants, insects, trees and ice, revealing small-scale and often inaudible processes through installations, compositions and performances.
Recent work includes Melting Landscapes and Crying Glacier, projects that bring the inner sounds of Swiss glaciers to our ears. He also researches and teaches in the field, and has curated the landscape sound festival Sonic Topologies in Zurich.
Ladies and gentlemen… the wonderful Ludwig Berger.
