Welcome to Episode 1️⃣ of the pod! Join us in our mystical conversation on the horror sub genre of Witches, as we discuss the puritanical black magic masterpiece, The VVitch (2015), directed by Robert Eggers & the technicolor tarot eyegasm, The Love Witch (2016), directed by Anna Biller.
My brilliant friend, Evangeline, and I explore all things Witch, from feminism and empowerment to what it may look like to “burn a witch at the stake” in modern times. Also, why are witches associated with broomsticks? Do men belong in witchy spaces? And why did Eggers make the devil so daddy? 😈
