What do you do when you wake up on the other side of 60, still standing, still fighting, still grateful—and suddenly realize the parenting playbook you were handed doesn't fit the world your adult children are living in? Welcome to The 60 Club, a new kind of kitchen table conversation where seasoned women get honest about aging, menopause, surviving cancer, and raising children who are navigating a dating pool, a work culture, and a digital world none of us grew up in. In this debut circle, Charlease sits down with her longtime friends Regina Whitlock and Yolanda Harris to get real about what gratitude looks like at this stage of life and what our kids actually need from us right now.
You'll hear:• Why turning 60 isn't a finish line—it's a front row seat to everything that matters• How menopause, cancer, and aging have reshaped Charlease's perspective on gratitude
The Gen Z work ethic conversation every parent is whispering about but nobody wants to say out loud• Why our daughters are thriving but single—and what's really happening with our sons• The multi-sport kid advantage and why accountability on the field translates to accountability in the boardroom• How devices, overstimulation, and over-coddling are quietly rewiring a generation• What ”equally yoked” really means (hint: it's not about matching backgrounds)
• The lifestyle choices quietly stealing fertility, health, and years from people we love
• Why home-grown tomatoes taste different—and what that says about the food on our shelves
• The power of a global friendship network that spans decades, distance, and every season of life
Opening Devotion:
Scripture: Psalm 92:14 – ”They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green.”
Devotional Thought: Somewhere along the way, the world started treating aging like a problem to solve instead of a promise to receive. But Scripture tells us something very different. The righteous don't fade—they flourish. They don't dry up—they stay fresh and green. The women who have walked through loss, survived the diagnoses, raised the children, buried the loved ones, and still show up with open hands and full hearts are the ones carrying the wisdom this generation is desperate for. The 60 Club isn't about looking back. It's about looking around, seeing who God has kept in your circle, and pouring what you know into whoever is willing to listen.
Prayer: Father, thank You for every year You've given us. Thank You for the friendships that have stood the test of time, the bodies that have carried us through storms, and the testimonies we get to share because You kept us. Bless every woman walking into a new season wondering if she still has something to offer. Remind her that her fruit is still coming, her voice still matters, and her story is still being written. In Jesus' name, amen.
