What a JOY it was to sit down with Sara Joy Annapolen, the creative heart behind Shop Sara Joy. Sara’s had a lifelong love affair with color and fashion, one that began her career at DressBarn, where she spent years building relationships and loving her work. When the tides shifted after many great years and was let go, she poured that same passion and kindness into launching her own vibrant resort wear line (that went on to land in Bloomingdale’s)😵

Life was amazing as a fashion designer…but also became increasingly stressful.  There was a constant need to create and innovate and it took a toll on her. 

She had a pivotal moment when the world went dark. After October 7th, Sara felt a pull toward creating art that truly fed her soul, painting soulful Judaica and breathtaking murals, some stretching over 25 feet wide. She’s a master manifester who believes, with her whole heart, that the universe has her back (nod to Gabby Bernstein). By trusting her path, protecting her mental health, making the brave choice to let go of alcohol, and embracing her “Sara 2.0” chapter, her happiness and energy have soared! 🚀

We may have started out as acquaintances with mutual friends, but we left this conversation as friends. And, I know you’ll feel the same pull toward her warmth, wisdom, and energy.
