Aaron Santmyire’s story is proof that when God calls, He
also equips. A nurse practitioner from the “almost heaven”
state of West Virginia, Aaron left a comfortable life to
spend the last twenty years serving in some of the most
remote and overlooked places on earth, in Burkina Faso,
Madagascar, and Kenya. He has traveled by helicopter and
mobile clinic into villages that had never seen a visitor,
cared for patients battling leprosy and rare tropical
diseases, and carried both medical care and the love of
Jesus to people the world had forgotten.
In this powerful episode of the ActsSocial Podcast, Aaron
shares what God has taught him through two decades on the
mission field, why every act of caring matters, and how
each of us, right where we are, can change the trajectory
of an uncaring world.
