A podcast where we take you onsite to the research labs, warehouses and data centers where the future is being built.
In February, I made a pilgrimage to portfolio company Infinita City. This emergent network city is housed on the island of Roatán off the coast of Honduras and home to one of the most unique and ambitious projects at the intersection of crypto, governance and biotech innovation. It’s hard to capture exactly what’s taking place there in words, so I brought my microphone and put together an audio essay to illustrate this one-of-a-kind experience.
You’ll hear many speakers during the episode including:
* Niklas Azinger, Founder & CEO of Infinita City
* Chance Taken, Researcher and Pop-Up Village Afficianado
* Liam of Sealand, Prince of the Principality of Sealand
* Elliot Roth, Founder of Biopunk Labs
* Sterlin Lujan, Polis Labs, Logos Community
* Balaji Srinivasan, The Network School
This is a new experiment in how we share insights from behind the scenes in the world of deep tech. Let us know what you think and if you’d like more content like this!
Bonus: while I was onsite, I gave a talk at their Crypto-Cities Summit on the future of public services and government infrastructure onchain. Summary here.
