Our second episode is with one of our hosts, Mbali Shongwe. Mbali Shongwe is the founder of Mindful(l) Organisation which is a youth-centred mental health organisation which aims to destigmatize mental illness and create a community of collective care through a holistic and creatively curated approach which is driven by peer-based healing initiatives, mental health education and access to free psychosocial support for young people across South Africa. Mbali is an intersectional activist whose interest lies in the public health sector at large with a specific focus on mental health, anti-GBV advocacy and health education.
