Fifty episodes. One season. And the announcement I’ve been keeping secret from almost everyone in my life, until now.
This is the Season One finale of the Type 2 Travel Podcast, and it’s the sequel to Under Construction, the biggest episode in the history of this show. That one was recorded days before I left for a two-month trip through India, Kenya, Egypt, and Morocco. This one is everything that happened after I hit publish: the phone call that changed the trajectory of my business on day one, the house that refused to sell until I came home to say goodbye, and the realization that snuck up on me somewhere in between: for the first time in five years, I don’t need this business to survive.
Which left me holding a question I couldn’t put down all spring…if it’s not about survival anymore, what is it for?
This episode is the answer. The whole five-year story — where I started, what it cost me, what it quietly built while I wasn’t looking — and a first look at what’s coming next.
