Discover the wonderfully diverse work of Lisa Newsome here at ARTspace through August. Describing her collection as “A Mixed Bag,” Lisa embraces creativity in every form. Working as a teacher aide, hairdresser and artist, she loves experimenting with a variety of styles and mediums—from oils and acrylics to mixed media, with a particular passion for metallics and gold and silver leaf.
This exhibition showcases a collection of works from Lisa’s archives, following a year dedicated entirely to creating a garment for the 2026 World of WearableArt Awards, where she has proudly been selected as a finalist.
