The Marshall Project’s Inside Story Podcast

The Marshall Project’s Inside Story Podcast
Podcast Description
Inside Story is a first-of-its kind new series created to engage with and bring information to one of America’s largest news deserts - its prisons and jails. Developed by formerly incarcerated people, Inside Story brings critical accountability and investigative journalism on the criminal justice system to incarcerated people across the country.
Co-created by Bartley and Donald Washington, Jr., both of whom work at The Marshall Project and were themselves formerly incarcerated, Inside Story brings TMP’s impactful accountability and investigative journalism on the criminal justice system to incarcerated people — and those on the outside, too. In addition to stories built around TMP’s original reporting and those of its partners, the show includes animated first-person essays, explainers and more.
We’re bringing viewers inside prisons with a show on the most pressing, and often overlooked, issues of our time. This is Inside Story.
