As the day comes to an end, what do we do with everything we’ve experienced, both around us and within us? In this message from From Dawn to Dark, we explore the invitation to look back over our day with Jesus. We're invited to notice where we moved toward love, where we pulled away, what brought us joy, what hurt, and what we’re still carrying. Like the disciples on the road to Emmaus, we can discover that Jesus was present with us even in moments when we didn’t recognize him.

Evening gives us an opportunity to release the day to God. We don’t have to finish every task, solve every problem, or make sense of everything before we can let the day end. We can thank God for what was good, bring him what was difficult, confess what needs to be confessed, and trust him with what remains unfinished. The day may come to an end, but God’s faithfulness does not, and we can trust that the One who walked with us today will still be with us tomorrow.
