Changed — Poured from Vessel to Vessel
What if the changes, challenges, and difficult seasons we face are actually part of how God is shaping us?
In Changed — Poured from Vessel to Vessel, Brother and Sister Shalm encourage us to keep moving forward, even through seasons of uncertainty and change.
Drawing from Jeremiah’s picture of wine being poured from one vessel to another, Brother Shalm explores how remaining comfortable and unchanged can keep us from becoming what God intends us to be. Just as wine was poured into a new vessel to leave the sediment behind, God can use the transitions, trials, and wilderness seasons of our lives to refine us, strengthen us, and move us forward.
The message reminds us that our walk with God was never meant to remain in one place. We are called to be continually renewed by His Spirit, changed “from glory to glory,” leaving behind the things that weigh us down and pressing toward what God has ahead.
Change may be uncomfortable. The wilderness may be difficult. The journey may not always make sense. But God is still at work.
Keep going. Keep growing. Allow God to pour you from vessel to vessel.
