We welcomed National Triathletes and 2025 SEA Games medalists Tey Yi Jun (Silver x2) and Herlene Yu (Bronze x3) to the red seats this week.
Straight from the SEA Games, we caught up with this power couple as they started their offseason. With the stories and anecdotes still fresh in their minds, we downloaded the year is has been leading up to Singapore Triathlon’s most successful SEA Games medal haul ever with 7 medals.
Each with their own challenges and injuries carried throughout the year, we discussed the highs and the lows of the season and how they overcame each of the obstacles along the way to be at their absolute best in Thailand at the end of the year.
Herlene a veteran of four campaigns and Yi Jun making his debut, they both came in with very different perspectives and mindsets leading up the the 2025 SEA Games.
Listen to their stories on how he steadily made progress throughout the year, qualifying for then thriving and medaling in the regions premier biennial event.
