Miles Johnston is a veteran UFO researcher from Belfast, Northern Ireland, known for founding the Irish UFO Research Centre in the early 1970s. His interest in UFOs began due to significant reported UFO activity in Ireland during that decade. Johnston produced historical documentaries on pirate radio stations in Ireland for two decades, which evolved into his broader work in UFO research. He is the creator of the Bases Project, sparked by interviews with Barry King and Lisa Williams about a secret underground base in Peasemore, Berkshire, where Programmable Generated Life Forms were allegedly produced. This led to the documentary series British Bases*. Johnston also co-directed the AMMACH (Anomalous Mind Management, Abductee, Contactee Helpline) project, founded by Joanne Summerscales in 2011, to support those claiming alien abductions or contact. He has appeared in TV documentaries like *The Great UFO Conspiracy (2015) and Confessions of an Alien Abductee (2013), often credited as part of the Bases Project.
