Episode #2049. Recorded 16th April 2025.An exclusive interview with Springburn resident and volunter, Liz Speirs, who remembers her school days and has seen many changes in the local area. The Springburn Audio Preservation Project is a new twenty-year project by a group of local people, collating unique media, memories, music and more from across the Greater Springburn and North Glasgow area. Founded in 2008, the project was re-started in 2024 after a hiatus since 2010. The project was initially part of a final-year-project at Cumbernauld College by Springburn film-maker Frank C. McGowan.
