Raised in Gibraltar, she made aliyah to Jerusalem in 2001, in the middle of the Second Intifada. In her own words, she accepted the post of Israel's Special Envoy for Trade and Innovation in September 2023. Her party's number two is Yosef Haddad, an Arab Israeli from Nazareth who served in Golani.
