Hosted by The Zelotones, Singapore’s very own passionate, independent band, we’re all about sharing real-life stories, spreading positivity, and championing inclusion for persons with disabilities (PWD).
Meet the crew:
🎸 Zach (bass) – Founder, groove master, and proof that losing sight doesn’t mean losing vision. From navigating blindness in young adulthood to rocking the bass like nobody’s business, Zach’s got wisdom and wicked riffs.
🥁 Alex (drums) – Started on bass, leveled up to drums, now smashing Grade 5 exams like it’s no big deal. Visually impaired since young, Alex’s independence and “why not?” attitude make him a powerhouse on and off stage.
🎤 Zyana (vocals & rhythm guitar) – Our powerhouse vocalist with a heart full of stories and a guitar that never lies. Living with tunnel vision hasn’t stopped her from crafting beautiful arrangements and lighting up any stage.
🎹 Ben (keys) – The “jukebox” pianist with Grade 8 chops, a killer smile, and a life story that redefines resilience. After two serious accidents, Ben’s motto is simple: keep playing, keep glowing.
💪 The Zelotones do it all – music, admin, PR, finances – proving that disability doesn’t define limits. We use our voices (and instruments!) to amplify PWD perspectives, spark conversations, and build a more inclusive Singapore.

Who says champions don’t get scared? 👀 In this laugh-out-loud yet heartwarming episode, the Zelotones—Alex, Zyana, and Ben—get real about facing fears, phobias, and the funny side of being human.
The trio kicks things off with some big celebration vibes 🎉—their latest single “Mummy Rosemary” just dropped! This nostalgic yet modern Malay pop, co-written by Alex and Zyana and arranged by all four Zelotones, is full of ’60s flair and positive energy. 🐱 Alex, our confident drummer and self-proclaimed Scaredy Cat, admits his lifelong fear of—yep—cats! From mistaking a crying baby for a cat to accidentally tripping over Zyana while running away from one at a clinic, his stories are equal parts hilarious and adorable.
📞 Zyana opens up about conquering her anxiety around phone calls at work—something that took years of patience, self-trust, and the courage to grow.
🌊 Ben, ever the quiet fighter, shares how he overcame his fear of swimming after a life-changing accident—proving that courage doesn’t come easy, but it’s always worth it.
