ex-VC & tech exec who left it all behind, sold everything I own and went looking for some answers. This is my search for truth, meaning and what a good life actually looks like.
In this episode I speak with TJ Power— he's a neuroscientist, but more than that, I think he and I see the world in a really similar way. We're both obsessed with the same question: how do we build a brain and body that can actually cope with how fast modern life has gotten?
TJ breaks down his DOSE framework — dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin, and endorphins — and honestly reframed how I think about my own brain. His idea that these four chemicals are like ”honest friends” living inside us, constantly trying to steer us toward what's good for us, stuck with me. When we ignore what they want, they don't stay quiet about it.
