This is the second half of our interview with DJ Tara, a Brooklyn-based urban planner and DJ. In Episode 1, we talked a bit about the current political and economic conditions in New York City that nightclubs are facing. In this episode, we’ll be diving more into this question of whether a nightclub is a community space or a business and how they might operate in unconventional ways to stay afloat without sacrificing their values.
