Podcast Description

The original Heritage plates were the first official number plates released in Victoria. Each one made by hand, these iconic plates adorned the cars of VIPs and distinguished Victorians. Available between 1932 and 1939 the original Heritage plates were issued from 1 to 285,000.
Today, these Heritage plates have become a symbol of success among Victoria’s elite business community. Whether for investment or status, Heritage plates have grown significantly in demand and have demonstrated strong capital growth overtime to become one of the rarest collectibles in motor vehicle history.
These are their stories.
