Jan Jekielek, senior editor of The Epoch Times and host of American Thought Leaders, joined us in Los Angeles to talk about the Chinese Communist Party’s forced organ harvesting industry and what it reveals about the regime behind it. 
His New York Times bestselling book, Killed to Order: China’s Organ Harvesting Industry and the True Nature of America’s Biggest Adversary, examines a practice many still find almost impossible to contemplate: prisoners of conscience blood-typed, tissue-typed, and killed to order so that organs can be delivered on a schedule. 
Jan explains how that system differs from ethical transplantation, how it was built first on Falun Gong practitioners and later extended to Uyghurs, and why the official story of death-row donors cannot account for the scale of the industry.
The conversation goes well beyond the crimes themselves. 
Jan and AFA President, Dr Karen Siegemund discuss why forced organ harvesting is a feature of the system rather than an abuse at its margins; the difference between Hippocratic medicine and a utilitarian ethic in which the Party’s survival is the greatest good; how “black class” propaganda and no-win coercion pull ordinary doctors, officials, and citizens into atrocity; and why freedom of conscience, what James Madison called the most sacred property, is the freedom totalitarian systems most need to extinguish.
They also take up regionally administered totalitarianism, the pathocracy that elevates people without moral limits, decades of American capital and technology that helped build the regime, and the human rights record as leverage the United States has largely left unused. 
The evening includes the account of survivor Cheng Peiming, the case for treating these crimes as integral to how the CCP rules, and what legislation and ordinary citizens can still do.
