Building your own table starts with deciding who belongs there and why.
In this solo episode of Her Table, Her Rules, Juliet Peters breaks down the meaning behind the show name and why women should stop waiting for permission to sit at tables that were never built for them. She talks about the shift from trying to get a seat at someone else’s table to intentionally building your own with the mentors, colleagues, providers, and champions who can help you grow.
Juliet also gets practical about what table-building looks like in real life: reaching out for mentorship, building actual relationships beyond a screen, supporting other women first, expanding beyond your usual circle, and finding people who can advocate for you when you are not in the room.
If you have been trying to grow your career, business, or leadership presence without the right circle around you, this episode is a reminder that relationships are not a side project. They are part of the table.
