I had the honor to visit Lance Twitchell, talking about our endangered Tlingit language. Lance shares his hope and the efforts being made to promote language speakers. This was our first visit after filming Lance on my film The Woman Who Married a Bear, the first narrative film completely in the Tlingit language, which was done with Lance’s guidance, translating skills, and on-camera acting.
