What happens when we begin to parent from the whole gospel instead of a partial one?
In this episode, Deb, Caffe, Lori, and Stephanie talk about how our understanding of the gospel shapes every area of life—from marriage and relationships to the way we raise our children.
A partial gospel can leave parents feeling like everything depends on them: managing behavior, suppressing struggles, and trying to raise children who reflect a “good Christian life.” The pressure can be overwhelming.
But the whole gospel tells a different story.
Jesus is not only our Savior—He is our Lord, and He is actively transforming us from the inside out. When we begin to live from the security of belonging to Him, parenting begins to change. The pressure to perform fades, the myth of balance loosens its grip, and we begin to rest in the work Christ is doing.
And the promise of the gospel doesn’t stop with us—God is at work in our children as well.
This conversation invites parents to move from striving to trust and to discover the freedom of parenting from the rest we have in Christ.
