Michelle and I aren’t exactly the “typical” medical students if such a thing even exists. Our paths to medical school were anything but straightforward. One of us doubted whether we were truly meant to be here, while the other carried the quiet guilt of not feeling the intense passion everyone else seemed to have.
In this episode, we’re opening up about the insecurities we rarely say out loud the moments we questioned our worth, the fear of being “found out,” and the expectations that made us wonder if we belonged at all.
We’ll dive into how we recognised our imposter syndrome, what helped us navigate it, and whether we’ve actually overcome it… or if we’re still learning to make peace with it.
