Hello!Welcome to the Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust's Recruitment Podcast! Yes, it is a bit of a mouthful but don't worry - it's quite straightforward. This is a podcast run by members of the Recruitment team of an NHS Trust based in Lancashire. We will discuss vacancies, NHS applications, NHS careers, hints and tips, occasionally news about the North West region, observation days, etc, etc. If you're looking for an insight into life in the NHS and thinking of a career in a regional hospital, this could be podcast that you are looking for! The NHS does have some podcasts but not many, and yes we are biased, but we believe ours to be the most accessible and listener friendly. We're not into 2 hour episodes featuring panel interviews with specialist consultants discussing white papers (although that is clearly very important), we're talking about Recruitment and careers and things that matter to you in bite size chunks, usually 15-30 minutes (ish) long!So make a brew, get settled and give us a listen, whether that's on the bus, at home, in the car or anywhere in between.
