David Weil, a leading expert in labor market policy and workplace regulation, is a professor at the Heller School and the 2025 Stone Visiting Scholar at Harvard Kennedy School. As the former Dean of Heller and Wage and Hour Division Administrator under President Obama, Weil brings decades of scholarship and public service to issues of employment, transparency, and economic justice.
