Alex Dixon is an executive, advisor, and operator whose career spans investment banking, gaming, hospitality, private equity, large-scale development, and corporate transformation. He began his career at Goldman Sachs before moving into operating leadership roles across organizations including Harrah’s/Caesars Entertainment, Circus Circus, Brady Linen, and Resorts World. Today, through GMA Consulting, he advises gaming companies, hospitality organizations, tribes, developers, investors, and governments on capital development, operational transformation, market expansion, regulatory strategy, and large-scale projects.
Alex also brings experience from both executive and board leadership, with a strong focus on capital allocation, governance, communication, and disciplined execution. Throughout the episode, he emphasizes the importance of understanding how money actually moves through a business, aligning strategy with investor timelines, and creating a vision that employees, communities, regulators, and capital providers can clearly understand.
