Come an join us as we search for the ancient way God has designed for us in the bible.
Welcome to EP 02 of the Ancient Path Podcast.
In today's episode, we are joined by Ps Adam Scharfe, whom I have known for at least 20 years.
Adam has pastored here in Australia and in the United States and has a gift of encouragement, wisdom, and humour.
We dive into the subject of raising children and what the Bible has to say about raising children.
Our only qualifications are that we both love Jesus and have children.
This conversation is an honest look at how we are trying to raise our children in the ways of the Lord in an ever-changing world.
One book that I mention in today's episode is The Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt. This book is the first to provide solid data and analytics to the gut feeling many parents have had for a while now around tech and children and teenagers.
Although Haidt isn't a Christian, his book provides some great insights into what the early introduction of phones and social media can do to our children.
Our prayer is that this podcast will give you the courage to raise your children with the wisdom of God from the Word of God.
