Melodie Parrish can be found traveling to new places to experience vibrant cultures and beautiful people. You will see her anywhere there is water, or a park bench, reading the latest nonfiction book that caught her eye. Melodie was born and raised in South Carolina and is a small town gal at heart. Her love for reading and the written word began when she read bedtime stories with her deddy. This love continued into adulthood. In recent years, she has developed a flaming desire to become an author, and with the release of, 8 Months of Hell, achieved that goal. When not writing, Melodie is a Histotechnologist at the local hospital, where she aids pathologists in the diagnosis of patients, saving lives one slide at a time.
