Dave at the table

Dave at the table
Podcast Description
All Christians worship in a particular stream of Christianity. But no single movement carries it all. Dave Olson, Heartland Church senior leader, firmly believes this. Fell into drugs, became homeless, then God saved and healed him. He wants to give away what he's learned. He sits down with all kinds of people, especially Christian leaders making an impact locally and globally. Here to challenge those who think the gifts of the Spirit are for today, by helping them root it in the Bible. And challenge the one who isn't so sure the gifts are for today but loves the Word and is cautiously open.

Dave is at the table with Paul Yadao, a pastor from the Philippines. Paul shares stories about the beginning of a mighty movement of The Holy Spirit among his group that began among university students. Their encounters were so evident, it was like breathing the air of His presence. He also shares about the signs of change in movements, his connection to Leif Hetland, his spiritual father, and models of leadership. Going through the wilderness and a baptism of love are also a major part of Paul’s story.
Paul and his wife, Ahlmira, are the lead pastors of Destiny Ministries International, a fiery Christian movement based in the Philippines. He is known as a speaker with a gift of imparting desire for intimacy with God for worship and Kingdom living. In May 2006, Paul and Ahl received a powerful impartation from Leif Hetland who has since become their spiritual father. The Destiny family has exploded to many nations with mighty signs and wonders.
