In this heartfelt episode of The Hope Connection, host Nina speaks with Joanna and Jessica Boskis, devoted guardians of five children who found themselves without stable housing after an unexpected eviction. Determined to keep their family together, they spent time in motels before connecting with outreach services that led them to Haven for Hope’s Family Emergency Services program.
At Haven, Joanna and Jessica received the support they needed to rebuild stability for their family, from help with documentation and school supplies to clothing and reliable transportation for the children. They are now preparing to move into their new home, holding on to hope and gratitude as they continue their journey toward lasting stability.
Through their story, Joanna and Jessica remind us that homelessness can happen to anyone, but with compassion, support, and perseverance, families can find their footing again. Their message is one of resilience, love, and the importance of community understanding.
