There are moments in life that change everything.
For Nadija Bajrami, those moments came in the form of three brain surgeries that forced her to stop, reassess her life, and ultimately walk away from a successful corporate career in search of a different path.
Now a trauma hypnotherapist, grief educator, end-of-life doula, and spiritual practitioner, Nadija supports people through some of life’s most difficult experiences.
In this conversation, she shares what grief actually looks like beyond the clichés, why trauma often shows up in ways we do not expect, and how unprocessed experiences can continue shaping our lives long after we believe we have moved on.
The discussion explores loss, identity, nervous system regulation, healing, childhood patterns, emotional resilience, and the difference between self-care and true healing.
If you have ever found yourself repeating the same patterns, struggling to move forward after loss, or questioning whether healing is supposed to feel easier than it does, this conversation offers a thoughtful and compassionate perspective.
